Alumina ceramics (AL203) are fine ceramics with excellent electrical insulation, wear resistance, and chemical stability. As a fine ceramic, alumina is a difficult material to machine, but by utilizing our accumulated processing know-how, we can handle machining in various shapes, large, medium, and small. Additionally, alumina can accommodate various applications such as improving surface roughness through polishing and surface treatments. Our standard material is 99.5% alumina, but we also offer high-purity alumina, low-purity economical alumina, heat-dissipating alumina, plasma-resistant alumina, porous alumina, and various other options. Until now, we have offered these as original products, but in response to numerous requests, we have added standard products to our lineup. You can choose from four types with diameters ranging from 0.5 to 2.0 mm (in 0.5 mm increments). These are ideal for processes where "the use of metals is not suitable," such as those requiring wear resistance and insulation.
